Design e Desenvolvimento de uma Intranet para a AZORES X

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem como objetivo a conceptualização e realização de um website empresarial que atenda às diversas necessidades da empresa.Localizada na ilha do Pico, no arquipélago dos Açores, a AZORES X tem como foco o futuro do arquipélago e como premissa central a valorização e divulgação de todos os bens e experiências que o arquipélago tem para oferecer não só a nível turístico como também aos seus residentes. Assim sendo, a empresa explora diversas áreas como marketing, logística, turismo, entre outros investimentos e serviços, em acréscimo também já teve a oportunidade de trabalhar em parceria com diversas outras empresas como Skype e Microsoft.Para além disso, a AZORES X atua na incentivação e desenvolvimento do gosto pela inovação e empreendorismo, com o intuito de criar novas marcas capazes de gerar lucro de forma sustentável. Tudo isto, apenas é possível com muito planeamento, dedicação e trabalho por parte da empresa, e é neste sentido, que surge a iniciativa de conceber um website empresarial, de forma a dinamizar, facilitar e fomentar o trabalho em equipa. Na primeira etapa, deste projeto, foi realizado um estudo e análise teórica, de áreas como design gráfico, intranet, user experience e design de interface, que são indispensáveis para a segunda fase. A segunda etapa corresponde à fase prática, na qual serão postos à prova todos os conhecimentos adquiridos na primeira fase, com o propósito de atingir um produto que satisfaça todas as necessidades da empresa e dos seus funcionários e colaboradores, para tal esta fase prática divide-se ainda em diferentes subfases, tais como: fases de desenvolvimento, testes e refinamento.

This dissertation aims at the conceptualization and realization of a business website that meets the various needs of the company. Located in Pico island, in the Azores archipelago, AZORES X is focused on the future of the archipelago and as a central premise the appreciation and dissemination of all the goods and experiences that the archipelago has to offer, not only in terms of tourism but also to its residents. Therefore, the company explores several areas such as marketing, logistics, tourism, among other investments and services, in addition, it has also had the opportunity to work in partnership with several other companies such as Skype and Microsoft.In addition, AZORES X works to encourage and develop a taste for innovation and entrepreneurship, with the aim of creating new brands capable of generating profit in a sustainable way. All of this is only possible with a lot of planning, dedication and work on the part of the company, and it’s in this sense that the initiative to design a business website arises, in order to streamline, facilitate and encourage teamwork.In the first stage of this project, a study and theoretical analysis were carried out in areas such as graphic design, intranet and user experience and interface, which are indispensable factors for the second stage. The second phase corresponds to the practical phase, in which all the knowledge acquired in the first phase will be put to the test, with the aim of achieving a product that satisfies all the needs of the company and its employees and collaborators. To that end, this phase is divided into different sub-phases, such as: prototyping, development, testing and refinement phases.
