Gestão da coleção de cerâmica chinesa, Museu Municipal de Coimbra

Abstract

O presente trabalho corresponde ao relatório de estágio no Museu Municipal de Coimbra, inserido no Mestrado em Património Cultural e Museologia da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, no ano letivo de 2020/2021. Apesar das vicissitudes provocadas pela pandemia, que muito dificultou o estágio, foi possível levar a bom termo esta tarefa. O Museu Municipal de Coimbra, inaugurado em 2001, tem em sua posse a coleção de Arte doada pelo casal Telo de Morais à Câmara Municipal em 1999, composta por várias obras de pintura e desenho portugueses, peças de escultura sacra, objetos de prata, mobiliário diverso e peças de cerâmica, ocupando todos os três andares do Edifício Chiado. A fim de garantir a gestão informatizada desta coleção museológica, bem como a sua inventariação e documentação, no dia 19 de maio de 2019 o Museu Municipal de Coimbra realizou uma candidatura ao ProMuseus|19 na Área 2 - Inventariação e Documentação das coleções, começando a trabalhar com o programa MatrizNet.Ao longo deste trabalho, proponho-me fazer uma análise o mais detalhadamente possível do programa MatrizNet, instalado nos museus da Rede do Ministério da Cultura, assim como a análise das fichas de inventário que realizei durante o estágio, pertencentes à coleção de Cerâmica chinesa das Dinastias Ming (1368/1644) e Qing (1644/1911).Procurarei igualmente comparar este programa com o SPECTRUM, utilizado por diversos museus em diferentes países, evidenciando as diferenças e as semelhanças entre si, com recurso a fichas de inventário do V&A Museum e do British Museum.

This work corresponds to the internship report at the Municipal Museum of Coimbra, included in the Master's Degree in Cultural Heritage and Museology at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, in the academic year 2020/2021. Despite the vicissitudes caused by the pandemic, which made the internship very difficult, it was possible to carry out this task.The Coimbra Municipal Museum, inaugurated in 2001, has in its possession the Art collection donated by Telo de Morais couple to the City Council in 1999, consisting of several Portuguese painting and drawing works, sacred sculpture pieces, silver objects, furniture and ceramic pieces, occupying all three floors of the Chiado Building.In order to guarantee the computerized management of this museum collection, as well as its inventory and documentation, on May 19, 2019, the Municipal Museum of Coimbra submitted an application to ProMuseus|19 in Area 2 - Inventory and Documentation of collections, starting to work with the MatrizNet program.Throughout this work, I propose to carry out an analysis in as much detail as possible of the MatrizNet program, installed in the museums of the Ministry of Culture's Network, as well as the analysis of the inventory sheets that I carried out during the internship, belonging to the Chinese Ceramics collection of Ming (1368/1644) and Qing (1644/1911) dynasties.I will also try to compare this program with SPECTRUM, used by different museums in different countries, highlighting the differences and similarities between them, using inventory sheets from the V&A Museum and the British Museum
