As competências de um/a profissional em educação social, desenvolvimento e dinâmicas locais numa autarquia

Abstract

O presente trabalho surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Social, Desenvolvimento e Dinâmicas Locais, da Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra, como resultado do estágio curricular realizado na Divisão da Educação e Juventude da Câmara Municipal de Cantanhede.O estágio, que decorreu entre outubro de 2020 e junho de 2021, possibilitou a concretização de diversas e distintas atividades e tarefas. Contudo, importa sublinhar a participação em sessões nas escolas do concelho, a colaboração em diferentes atividades na referida Divisão e, por fim, a realização e análise do questionário aos/às assistentes operacionais.Dada a diversidade de funções associadas ao papel dos/as assistentes operacionais de uma escola, a sua direta e indireta influência nos/as alunos/as e o seu incontestável contributo para a comunidade educativa, torna-se relevante realçar as suas necessidades, opiniões, sugestões e considerações perante a sua profissão. Neste sentido, considerou-se como projeto de estágio a elaboração de um questionário disponibilizado aos/às mesmos/as, de forma anónima, constituído por quatro grupos para posterior análise das respostas obtidas. Com este foi possível constatar e refletir sobre determinados aspetos sentidos e demonstrados por este grupo, bem como aumentar a sua confiança e motivação perante o seu trabalho. Após a análise do mesmo, construímos uma planificação de ações de formação, tendo em vista a capacitação dos/as assistentes operacionais.Para além disso, salientam-se as sessões participadas nas escolas do concelho de Cantanhede, junto das crianças, integrando a equipa multidisciplinar e, finalmente, as tarefas desenvolvidas na Divisão onde o estágio se concretizou.Ao realizar o estágio curricular verificámos novas oportunidades, novos desafios, novas aprendizagens e novas experiências que proporcionaram o desenvolvimento de competências pessoais e profissionais, enquanto Técnica Superior de Educação/Educadora Social, a desempenhar funções num Município.

This report is part of the Master Degree in Social Education, Development and Local Dynamics, from the Faculty of Psychology and Sciences of Education of the University of Coimbra, as a result of the internship carried out at the Education and Youth Division of the Cantanhede City Council.The internship, which happened between October 2020 and June 2021, allowed the development of several and distinct activities and tasks. However, it is important to highlight the participation in sessions at schools of the county, the collaboration in different activities in the Division and, finally, the accomplishment and analysis of the questionnaire to operational assistants.Given the diversity of functions associated with the assignment of operational assistants in a school, their direct and indirect influence on the students and their undeniable contribution to the educational community, it is important to enhance their needs, opinions, suggestions and considerations regarding their profession. Therefore, we consider as an internship project the preparation of a questionnaire made available to them, anonymously, consisting of four groups for further analysis of the answers. With this it was possible to observe and reflect on certain aspects felt and demonstrated by this group, as well as increasing their confidence and motivation towards their work. After analyzing it, we built a plan of formation actions, enabling the operational assistants.Besides, we emphasize the sessions in the schools of the Cantanhede municipality, with the children, as part of the multidisciplinary team and, finally, the tasks developed in the Division where the internship did develop.By doing the curricular internship we verified new opportunities, new challenges, new learning and new experiences that provided the development of personal and professional skills, as a Higher Education Technician/Social Educator, working in a City Council.
