Intervenção em Crise: Breve reflexão em torno de algumas questões

Abstract

A seleção desta temática para desenvolver a investigação que está na base da minha tese deve-se em especial ao caráter de inovação e pertinência que ela encerra em particular numa fase em que Portugal e o Mundo vivem num contexto de uma pandemia.Começo por referir que encontrei uma verdadeira Caixa de Pandora ao envolver-me no contexto prático da realidade de trabalho pois desde o início da investigação que todos os dias havia coisas diferentes e números diversos dos existentes no dia anterior, fazendo-me claramente sair da minha zona de conforto, que é o que se aprende em sala de aula.Esta temática da “intervenção em crise” é algo que ainda não é demasiado estudado, pelo que um dos objetivos presentes durante a elaboração do mesmo acaba por constituir um contributo para uma melhor compreensão teórico-prática e técnico-científica do mesmo.O ir para o terreno e conhecer o teatro de operações permitiu-me ter noções da realidade perante episódios traumáticos e de intervenção em crise, que teria sido bastante mais difícil entender apenas através da leitura de protocolos e de literatura recomendada, antes contribuiu para que este trabalho de investigação científica pudesse ser um importante subsídio para um conhecimento mais amplo e profundo sobre o que é a psicotraumatologia e a intervenção em crise.Este trabalho foi feito com base na recolha de dados no terreno, recorrendo a fontes primárias de informação, por observação, tendo sido realizadas entrevistas com sujeitos população-alvo, nomeadamente na corporação de Bombeiros Voluntários de Soure.Foi possível ter uma perspetiva mais aprofundada e real dos níveis de ansiedade, de preparação, do sacrifício e da resistência / resiliência perante o choque, o trauma e aquilatar a sua capacidade em encontrar soluções para as várias realidades enfrentadas.Esta é uma área análise e do conhecimento que ainda está a ser desbravada, pois só nos últimos anos se notou algum interesse e curiosidade por parte de alguns investigadores, mais no âmbito do contexto social, que olha para o grupo e como este tende a preparar-se para situações de choque para a vida humana e não tanto do contexto emocional, em especial como cada indivíduo absorve, enfrenta e reage a estas circunstâncias. Além disso, e como consequência de situações como acidentes de viação, com existência de vítimas politraumatizadas ou encarceramentos, atentados terroristas, violência doméstica e outros crimes públicos ou ainda, por exemplo, no apoio às vítimas da pandemia Covid19, onde poderá ser necessário notificar a morte de entes queridos, a função do psicólogo com especialização em psicotraumatologia e intervenção em crise é essencial para mitigar o choque dos notificados.Este trabalho deve ser entendido como um subsídio para propor sugestões e linhas de orientação que possam dar respostas a situações várias, como a necessidade de promoção da prevenção, da preparação em equipa, nomeadamente, na área psicoeducativa, no que respeita ao trauma psicológico nas situações de crise, desastre ou catástrofe, suportadas em evidências concretas da recolha de informações no teatro de operações, por forma a potenciar um melhor conhecimento do que é a psicotraumatologia e a intervenção em crise.

The selection of this theme to develop the research that is the basis of my thesis is due in particular to the character of innovation and relevance that it contains in a particular phase in which Portugal and the World live in a context of a pandemic.I begin by mentioning that I found a true Pandora's Box by getting involved in the practical context of the work reality because since the beginning of the investigation that every day there were different things and numbers different from those existing the day before, making me clearly leave my comfort zone, which is what you learn in the classroom.This theme of "crisis intervention" is something that is not yet studied too much, so one of the objectives present during the elaboration of it ends up constituting a contribution to a better theoretical-practical and technical-scientific understanding of it.Going to the field and knowing the theater of operations allowed me to have notions of reality in the face of traumatic episodes and crisis intervention, which would have been much more difficult to understand just by reading protocols and recommended literature, before it contributed to this scientific research work could be an important subsidy for a broader and deeper knowledge about what psychotraumatology and crisis intervention is.This work was done based on the collection of data in the field, using primary sources of information, by observation, having been carried out interviews with subjects target population, namely in the corporation of Soure Voluntary Firemen.It was possible to have a more in-depth and real perspective of the levels of anxiety, preparation, sacrifice and resistance / resilience in the face of shock, trauma and assess their ability to find solutions to the various realities faced.This is an area of ​​analysis and knowledge that is still being explored, as only in recent years has some interest and curiosity been noticed by some researchers, more in the context of the social context, which looks at the group and how it tends to prepare to shock situations for human life and not so much the emotional context, especially as each individual absorbs, faces and reacts to these circumstances.In addition, and as a consequence of situations such as road accidents, with the existence of polytrauma victims or incarcerations, terrorist attacks, domestic violence and other public crimes, or even, for example, in supporting victims of the Covid pandemic19, where it may be necessary to notify the death of loved ones, the role of the psychologist specializing in psychotraumatology and crisis intervention is essential to mitigate the shock of those notified.This work should be understood as a subsidy to propose suggestions and guidelines that can provide answers to various situations, such as the need to promote prevention, team preparation, namely, in the psychoeducational area, with regard to psychological trauma in situations crisis, disaster or catastrophe, supported by concrete evidence of the collection of information in the theater of operations, in order to enhance a better knowledge of what is psychotraumatology and crisis intervention.
