Abstract

“De espaço erudito, dedicado a uma pequena franja de especialistas, de estetas ou de curiosos iluminados, os museus de hoje visam alargar ao máximo o espectro dos seus frequentadores: crianças e velhos, turistas e passantes, estudantes e estudiosos” (ROCHA-TRINDADE, 1993:17)O presente relatório incide, principalmente, sobre um período de estágio curricular no Museu Municipal Manuel Soares de Albergaria, em Carregal do Sal. Numa primeira fase são expostas um conjunto de tarefas e funções desempenhadas durante o período de estágio, que se são importantes para se perceber o dia-a-dia dos Museus, as suas rotinas, mais especificamente do Museu MMSA. No entanto, o objetivo principal do estágio foi a apresentação de uma série de iniciativas culturais que visavam uma maior dinamização do Museu. Estas iniciativas foram apresentadas durante o período de estágio, tendo sido concretizadas na maioria dos casos. Assim, numa segunda parte do documento, são apresentadas e descritas todas as iniciativas, para além dos métodos ou procedimentos para um planeamento das mesmas. Numa terceira e última fase, é feita uma análise pós-estágio, com algumas reflexões e observações pessoais sobre o Museu MMSA com as suas especificidades, as iniciativas propostas, o que pode ser feito, no futuro, que contribua para uma melhor dinamização do mesmo ou dos Museus locais em geral, uma atuação museológica mais abrangente, que permita uma maior interação com os visitantes e que consiga chegar a todo o tipo de público

“ From na erudite space, dedicated to a small spectrum of specialists, of aesthetes or illuminated curious beings, Museums, nowadays, aim to fully please the spectrum of its visitors: children, elders, tourists and bystanders, students and scholars.” (ROCHA-TRINDADE, 1993:17)The main focus of this present report is on the curricular internship that was held at the Museu Municipal Manuel Soares de Albergaria in Carregal do Sal. In na initial phase, a set of tasks and duties that were performed and fulfilled during the internship are presented, which are very important in order to better understand the daily life of the Municipal Museum Manuel Soares de Albergaria. However, the main objective was to present a number of cultural initiatives that would promote the Museum. Those initiatives were presented during the period of the internship and the majority of them were approved and held during that same period. Therefore, in a second part of the document the cultural initiatives are presented and described as well as all the methods and procedures used to plan them. In a third and last phase of this report there has been made an after internship analysis with some thoughts and personal observations about the Museum MMSA with its particularities, initial proposals, what can be done in the future to improve its promotion or the promotion of other local Museums in general, a widened museological action approach in orther to increase the interaction with its visitors that will enalble all kinds of public.
