Relatório de Estágio e Monografia intitulada “As Novas Tecnologias e a Farmácia: da Farmácia de Oficina para a Farmácia Digital”

Abstract

O relatório de estágio referente ao estágio curricular em farmácia comunitária foi desenvolvido sob a forma de uma análise SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). Esta apresentação permite uma visão esquemática e simples das várias componentes inerentes ao estágio. Destacam-se como principais pontos fortes a aquisição de conhecimento sobre toda a cadeia de gestão e armazenamento de medicamentos, assim como o atendimento ao público, a formação contínua proporcionada pelas formações realizadas na farmácia e a realização de serviços farmacêuticos.A monografia insere-se no âmbito das novas tecnologias na farmácia uma vez que as tecnologias complementam cada vez mais o dia-a-dia das populações e das empresas. Estas possuem um enorme leque de soluções entre as quais mHealth, Big Data, Inteligência Artificial e está gradualmente a trespassar para áreas como a farmácia comunitária.Com as crescentes pressões económicas sentidas em Portugal, e com o aumento da desvalorização da profissão farmacêutica, torna-se cada vez mais urgente a renovação da carreira farmacêutica. Para ultrapassar estas barreiras e a rápida substituição do profissional pela máquina, são apresentadas estratégias que valorizam o profissional, tirando partido dos benefícios oferecidos por estas tecnologias. Associar a tecnologia aos serviços farmacêuticos é uma oportunidade para os farmacêuticos comunitários fomentarem o seu papel como agente de saúde. Importa assim o desenvolvimento eficiente e ético destas soluções e proporcionar formas de implementação racionais nas farmácias comunitárias portuguesas.

The internship report referring to the curricular internship in community pharmacy was developed in the form of a SWOT analysis (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). This presentation allows a schematic and simple view of the various components inherent to the internship. The main strengths are the acquisition of knowledge about the entire chain of management and storage of medicines, as well as customer service, the continuous training provided by the pharmacy and the provision of pharmaceutical services.The thesis falls within the scope of new technologies in the pharmacy since the technologies increasingly complement the daily lives of populations and companies. These technologies include a huge range of solutions like mHealth, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and it is gradually moving to areas such community pharmacy.With the increasing economic pressures felt in Portugal and with the increasing devaluation of the pharmaceutical profession, it is becoming more urgent to renew the pharmaceutical career. To overcome these barriers and the rapid replacement of the professional by the machine, strategies that value the professional are presented, taking advantage of the benefits offered by these technologies. Associating technology with pharmaceutical services is an opportunity for community pharmacists to foster their role as health agents. It is important to think about the efficient and ethical development of these solutions and provide rational ways of implementation in portuguese community pharmacies.
