O crime de violência sexual à luz do direito internacional penal

Abstract

A violência sexual contra mulheres é uma prática reiterada durante séculos na história da humanidade, em especial quando existe algum tipo de conflito entre povos. O objetivo do trabalho é apresentar um panorama histórico-jurídico global desta matéria, de modo que seja possível perceber como o Direito Internacional Penal, com destaque para o Tribunal Penal Internacional, vem atuando com relação ao Crime de Violência Sexual contra mulheres. Foi realizado um estudo bibliográfico, com base em artigos científicos, matérias jornalísticas, doutrina e jurisprudência, para formular um quadro geral e atual da situação do Crime de Violência Sexual contra mulheres à luz do Direito Internacional Penal.A violência sexual contra mulheres é uma prática reiterada durante séculos na história da humanidade, em especial quando existe algum tipo de conflito entre povos.
