Boas Práticas de Integração Social dos Jovens Após sua Institucionalização

Abstract

Durante o acolhimento as crianças e os jovens encontram-se num mundo estruturado onde contam com ajuda de uma equipa técnica disponível por os amparar aos golpes da vida.Quando os jovens atingem os vinte e um anos são devem sair das instituições e integrar-se numa vida autónoma e emancipada. Importa conhecer como é o trabalho efetuado pela equipa técnica na preparação dos jovens para este processo.Deste modo o objetivo deste estudo passa por identificar boas práticas de integração social dos jovens após a institucionalização abordando dois conceitos fundamentais na presente dissertação, o conceito de Integração e o conceito de Autonomização. A presente dissertação teve como técnica a análise qualitativa, baseado nas entrevistas efetuadas à equipa técnica de duas instituições de zonas geográficas completamente distintas, tendo um universo final de onze entrevistados, entre diretora técnica, assistentes sociais, educadores sociais e psicólogos.Com a presente dissertação verificamos que nas instituições em questão, são usados Planos Socioeducativos Individuais que visam a aquisição de competências sociais e pessoais que permitem a integração na sociedade, as instituições em estudo desenvolvem nos seus planos a prática de rotinas do dia-a-dia para que os jovens se tornam os mais autónomos possíveis. Tornou-se fulcral conhecer a opinião dos entrevistados no que toca ao sucessos dos planos desenvolvidos, e chegamos à conclusão que por norma se os planos são levados até ao final, tornam-se bem sucedidos, se o jovem opta por finalizar o plano antes do tempo, pode passar por dificuldades na sua integração. Por fim constatamos que a instituição e os laços de amizade desenvolvidos com a equipa técnica se mantém por toda a vida fazendo com que os jovens no final recorram ao apoio da instituição informalmente.

During the reception, children and young people find themselves in a structured world, where they have a technical team available to help them with the problems of life.When young people reach the age of twenty-one, they must leave the institutions and integrate into an autonomous and emancipated life. It is important to know how the work done by the technical team is in preparing the young people for this process.The objective of this study is to identify good practices of social integration of young people after institutionalization, addressing two fundamental concepts in the present dissertation, the concept of Integration and the concept of Automatization. We used in the present dissertation a qualitative analysis, based on the interviews made to the technical team of two institutions with a universe of eleven interviewees between technical director, social workers, social educators and psychologists.With the present dissertation we verified that in the institutions in question, Individual Socio-educational Plans are used that aim at the acquisition of social and personal competences that allow the integration in society, the institutions under study develop in their plans the practice of day-to-day routines so that young people become as autonomous as possible. It became crucial to know the opinion of the interviewees regarding the successes of the plans developed, and we came to the conclusion that by rules if the plans are taken to the end, they become much succeeded, if the young person chooses to finalize the plan before time, you may experience difficulties in your integration. Finally, we find that the institution and the bonds of friendship developed with the technical team are maintained for the rest of the life, making the young people in the end resort to the support of the institution informally.
