Integração socioprofissional e deficiência mental: percepção de técnicos de uma instituição de referência

Abstract

O presente estudo teve como objectivo compreender as percepções que os técnicos, de uma instituição de referência na área da deficiência, têm acerca da integração socioprofissional de pessoas portadoras de deficiência mental. Dado que, através da revisão de literatura, se constatou a escassez de informação científica acerca desta temática, é nosso objectivo primordial, contribuir para a desmistificação do tema e negativismo associado ao mesmo. Pretendemos também fazer uma breve discussão acerca da influência destas percepções na opinião da população geral.

The aim of this study was to understand the perceptions that technicians of an institution of reference in the disability field have about the socio-professional integration of people with mental disabilities. Since, through the literature review was noted the scarcity of scientific information about this topic, it is our primary objective, to help demystify the subject and negativity associated with it. We also intend to make a brief discussion about the influence of these perceptions in the opinion of the general population.
