Vinculação adulta e investimento parental

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como objetivo compreender as relações entre a vinculação adulta e o investimento materno no filho até um ano de idade, tendo em conta a possível mediação da variável confiança materna e relação com o cônjuge/companheiro. Foram objeto de estudo 105 mulheres com filhos até um ano de idade. Os resultados evidenciam algumas relações significativas, nomeadamente traços ansiosos do padrão de vinculação estão positivamente relacionados com o prazer que a mãe tem na relação com o seu filho, um maior conhecimento das necessidades do bebé correlaciona-se positivamente com um maior investimento socioemocional na criança e a ansiedade na gestão de relações de intimidade correlaciona-se de forma positiva com uma relação conjugal baseada na validação pessoal.

The purpose of this investigation is to verify the relationship among adult attachment and maternal socio emotional investment in the child up to a year of age, considering the potential mediation by maternal confidence and the relationship with the spouse/partner. 105 women with children up to 1 year of age participated in the survey. The results show a significant correlation between some of the variables, namely anxious traits from the attachment patterns are positively associated with the delight the mother feels in the relationship with her child, having better knowledge of the baby’s needs is positively associated with a bigger socioemotional investment in the child, and feeling anxious when managing intimate relationships is also correlated with a marital relationship based on personal validation.
