To face problems affecting the world, OECD and UNESCO advocate the urgency of seeking within education for concrete answers, capable of overcoming them and achieving the “well-being”, the “common good”. In this sense, based on Goal 4 (“Quality of Education”) of the United Nations Agenda 2015, they produced recommendations that countries can imple- ment in their education and training systems. Both organizations emphasize the “change” or “transformation” of schooling in the coming decades as a way of securing the “future” or “futu- res” of humanity. Among the multiple aspects that this “change” or “transformation” foresees is the relationship between teacher and students. This article focuses on the ways in which this relationship is outlined in these contexts, taking into account the involvement in learning and the reorganization of teaching and training that is required. |
