A lecionação da Teoria de Justiça de John Rawls (na ESDD)

Abstract

This report reflects the experience of a one-year Pedagogical Internship carried out at Secondary School D. Dinis (Coimbra) in the academic year 2022/2023, as part of the Master's Degree in Teaching Philosophy in Secondary Education at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra.In the report, we proposed in Part I to expose and analyze: in Point 1 the socio-educational context in which the pedagogical internship took place, we sought to characterize ESDD and the class(es) it affects; in Point 2 two curricular documents that currently guide the national education system (AE and PASEO) and articulate them; in Point 3 the regulations and guiding documents for pedagogical internships (describing teaching practice, monitoring sessions with the Supervising Teacher, class councils, individual monitoring projects and extracurricular activities). In Part II we sought to make known some more philosophically relevant political theories (from Machiavelli to Rawls) that we consider important to address in a classroom context to give a background and context to the theories that appear in the AE and have to be taught, detailing the theory of justice rawlsiana and analyze the results of an activity carried out during the internship with the two groups monitored and analyze them based on Rawls' principles of justice. In Part III we included the materials designed to teach the Social and Political Philosophy unit and in the Annexes some materials designed throughout the internship.Carrying out the pedagogical internship at ESDD was an added value on several levels, the quantity and diversity of practices that I had the opportunity to carry out showed me some dynamics and activities specific to the teaching profession in Portugal now.All materials attached to this report were designed under the guidance of the ESDD Supervising Teacher, who provided continuous training throughout the academic year and provided the opportunity to work directly with the school's students in different circumstances, which was simultaneously an challenge and a privilege that, without faithful and constant guidance, would have become very complicated and obviously less beneficial (both for me, as an intern, and for the students with whom I worked).The studies and findings in Part II of the report were designed individually – through reading works by various authors, published scientific articles, lectures, knowledge acquired throughout the degree and the 1st year of the master's degree, among other forms of collection of information –, seeking to expose some of the most important political thoughts in the philosophical tradition up to John Rawls' Theory of Justice.

O presente relatório reflete a experiência de um ano de Estágio Pedagógico realizado na Escola Secundária D. Dinis (Coimbra) no ano letivo 2022/2023, em função do Mestrado em Ensino de Filosofia no Ensino Secundário da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra.No relatório propusemo-nos na Parte I a expor e analisar: no Ponto 1 o contexto socioeducativo no qual o estágio pedagógico decorreu, procurámos caraterizar a ESDD e a(s) turma(s) afeta(s); no Ponto 2 dois documentos curriculares que orientam o sistema de ensino nacional presentemente (AE e PASEO) e articulá-los; no Ponto 3 a regulamentação e os documentos orientadores dos estágios pedagógicos (a descrever a prática letiva, as sessões de acompanhamento com o Professor Orientador, os conselhos de turma, os projetos de acompanhamento individuais e as atividades extracurriculares). Na Parte II procurámos dar a conhecer algumas teorias políticas filosoficamente mais relevantes (desde Maquiavel até Rawls) que consideramos importantes de abordar em contexto aula para dar um passado e contexto às teorias que constam nas AE e têm de ser lecionadas, esmiuçar a teoria de justiça rawlsiana e analisar os resultados de uma atividade realizada no estágio com as duas turmas acompanhadas e analisá-los a partir dos princípios de justiça de Rawls. Na Parte III colocámos os materiais concebidos para lecionar a unidade de Filosofia Social e Política e nos Anexos alguns materiais concebidos ao longo do estágio.A realização do estágio pedagógico na ESDD foi uma mais-valia a vários níveis, a quantidade e diversidade de práticas que tive a oportunidade de realizar mostrou-me algumas dinâmicas e atividades próprias da profissão docente em Portugal neste momento. Todos os materiais anexados neste relatório foram concebidos sob a orientação do Professor Orientador da ESDD, que prestou uma formação contínua ao longo de todo o ano letivo e proporcionou a oportunidade de trabalhar diretamente com os alunos da escola em circunstâncias diversas, tendo isto sido simultaneamente um desafio e um privilégio que, sem uma orientação fiel e constante, se teria tornado deveras complicado e evidentemente menos proveitoso (tanto para mim, enquanto estagiária, como para os alunos com os quais trabalhei). Os estudos e constatações da Parte II do relatório foram concebidos/as individualmente – através da leitura de obras de vários autores, artigos científicos publicados, palestras, conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo da licenciatura e do 1.º ano de mestrado, entre outras formas de recolha de informação –, procurando-se expor alguns dos pensamentos políticos mais importantes da tradição filosófica até à Teoria de Justiça de John Rawls.
