Abstract: It is shown that there exists a possibility of spontaneous spin polarization in high density symmetric quark matter under the tensor-type four-point interaction between quarks in the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. Further, the spontaneous magnetization is simply estimated by taking into account only the lowest Landau level.
