A HISTÓRIA DE UMA VIDA MATIZADA POR MUITAS MEMÓRIAS E OUTRAS TANTAS HISTÓRIAS

Abstract

A dissertação tem como objeto de estudo a História de Vida de uma pessoa benquista, na cidade de Cantanhede, pela sua dimensão humana; exemplar, pela autodidaxia, pelas capacidades intelectual, criativa e criadora; e modelo a seguir, pela partilha do saber e pela obra feita em prol da perpetuação da cultura e do património culturais da sua região.Revisitar a sua história vida permitiu-lhe destacar seres, situações relacionais, vivências em variados contextos e uma infinitude de experiências, autónomas ou com acompanhamento, e de aprendizagens, formais, não formais e informais, que convergiram para a construção da sua identidade, da sua formação e do seu desenvolvimento, nas diferentes etapas no decurso de toda a sua vida.A promoção do desenvolvimento individual e do progresso social, ao longo da vida da pessoa humana, com o intuito de promover o seu bem-estar, bem como o do seu meio natural e social, constitui um dos propósitos da Educação Permanente. Deste modo, na pesquisa realizada apresentou-se a sua pertinência na atualidade, numa sociedade moderna, em rápido e complexo processo de mutação, que exige da pessoa humana constantes atualizações, atitude de abertura a novas experiências e recetividade a formação de natureza polivalente.O trabalho apresentado consiste numa sistematização de material empírico riquíssimo e muito variado, recolhido de fontes diversas, sempre com as devidas autorizações. As opções, em termos de escrita e de organização da dissertação, derivaram, por isso, de uma triangulação complexa de dados tangíveis e intangíveis, que envolveram obras de arte, testemunhos orais e escritos, registos fotográficos, caderno de bordo da mestranda, notas escritas à mão cedidas pela pessoa que se escolheu estudar, entre outros exemplos. Assim, ao esquadrinhar a História de Vida da pessoa em estudo, evidenciou-se a importância da aprendizagem informal no seu desenvolvimento pessoal e social, descobriu-se o modo como viveu certas experiências e adquiriu os conhecimentos, que formaram a sua identidade e a sua personalidade, e confirmou-se que o querer saber e o desejo aprender (libido sciendi) não têm idade, facto legitimado por este testemunho vivo. Acredita-se que este exemplo de vida influenciará gerações e será um contributo muito valioso para o reforço da memória e da identidade da própria comunidade.

The thesis The story of a life marked by many memories and so many stories focuses on the Life History of a person who is highly regarded, in the city of Cantanhede, for his human dimension; an example, for his self-learning, for intellectual, creative and inventive abilities; and a role model, for sharing knowledge and for the work carried out in favour of perpetuating the culture and cultural heritage of his region.Revisiting his life history allowed him to highlight people, relational situations, experiences in various contexts and an infinite number of experiences, autonomous or with accompaniment, and learning - formal, non-formal and informal - which converged in the construction of his identity, his training and his development, in the different stages throughout his life.The promotion of individual development and social progress, throughout the human person's life, with the intent of promoting his/her well-being, as well as that of his/her natural and social environment, is one of the purposes of Lifelong Education. Thus, the research carried out presented its current relevance in a modern society, in a rapid and complex process of mutation, which requires constant updating from the human being, as well as an attitude of openness to new experiences and receptiveness to training of a polyvalent nature.The work submitted consists on a systematisation of very rich and varied empirical material, collected from various sources, always with the proper authorisations. The options, in terms of writing and the organisation of the dissertation, therefore derived from a complex triangulation of tangible and intangible data, which involved works of art, oral and written testimonies, photographic records, the masters student's logbook, handwritten notes provided by the person chosen to be studied, among other examples. Thus, by scrutinizing the Life History of the person under study, the importance of informal learning in his personal and social development became evident, the way in which he has lived certain experiences and acquired the knowledge that formed his identity and personality was discovered, and it was confirmed that the will to know and the desire to learn (sciendi libido) have no age, a fact legitimized by this living testimony. It is believed that this example of life will influence generations and will be a highly valuable contribution to the strengthening of the memory and identity of the community itself.
