Keywords: | Auditoria energética; Benchmarking; Eficiência energética; Serviços energéticos; Energy Audit; Benchmarking; Energy Efficiency; Energy Services | Issue Date: | Feb-2013 | Place of publication or event: | Coimbra | Abstract: | O relatório que se apresenta de seguida foi desenvolvido em cooperação com a
sistemas solares térmicos no Pavilhão I, Pavilhão II e Culturismo. A análise do
AQS. The following report was developed in a cooperation between the SINERGIAE – Energias Renováveis, Lda company and the University of Coimbra Stadium (EUC) in order to optimize and decrease the energy consumptions as well as their associated cost. The sports complexes represent a type of building with high potential in the energy savings, and they have been a target of analysis by energy service companies (ESCO) in some European countries. Firstly is performed a study of the energy demand to identify the critical sectors where the energy efficiency should be improved. With the analysis of the historical data (energy bill and number of athletes) is estimated the specific thermal and electrical consumptions, and results compare with others obtained for similar buildings. The solutions proposed to improve the efficiency and reduce energy bill are focused in the conversion of solar energy to thermal energy to produce domestic hot water (DHW) to supply the demand of the Sports Hall I, Sports Hall II and Bodybuilding. The investment analysis is carried out in two ways, the total investment by the EUC, or sharing the investment with an Energy Service Company (ESCO). The connection of EUC with an ESCO allows to reduce the initial investment in 60% when compare to EUC alone and afford the investment in 4 to 6 years. The profit for the ESCO comes from the balance of energy payment from the EUC and the energy saving with addition of solar collector to produce DHW. |
