Relatório de Estágio. Mestrado em Análises Clínicas

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio, tem por base um estágio curricular realizado no Laboratório de Análises Clínicas Synlab Alentejo, em Évora, exercido no âmbito do Mestrado em Análises Clínicas da Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Coimbra. O objetivo deste relatório consiste em expor a experiência adquirida ao longo do estágio, bem como os conhecimentos adquiridos nas quatro áreas principais de diagnóstico clínico-laboratorial, a Bioquímica, a Imunologia, a Hematologia e Microbiologia. Ao longo desta experiência, o estágio consistiu na realização e visualização de metodologias realizadas no laboratório, verificação do controlo de qualidade, bem como na apreciação crítica de dados laboratoriais, enquanto estudante e futura mestre de análises clínicas, tendo em perspetiva a saúde e bem-estar dos utentes. Para além disso, o estágio permitiu obter uma boa comunicação e integração na equipa do laboratório, assim como saber lidar no dia-a-dia do laboratório de análises clínicas. O estágio curricular foi realizado no período entre abril de 2021 e setembro de 2021, acompanhando os procedimentos analíticos. O presente relatório constitui um exercício onde são retratadas as atividades ao longo do estágio, com descrição da Fase Pré-analítica, Analítica e Pós-analítica. Dentro da fase analítica são abordadas de forma mais geral as valências de Bioquímica Clínica e Imunologia e com mais ênfase as valências de Hematologia e Microbiologia. Assim, a elaboração do relatório de estágio permite ao aluno refletir e sistematizar todos os conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo das unidades curriculares e do estágio final.

The present internship report, it’s based on a curricular internship performed in the ClinicalAnalysis Laboratory Synlab Évora in Alentejo, included under the Master's Degree in ClinicalAnalysis, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra.The purpose of this report is to describe the experience acquired during the internship aswell as the knowledge acquired in the four main areas of clinical and laboratory diagnosis, Biochemistry, Immunology, Hematology and Microbiology.Throughout this experience, the internship consisted in the realization and visualization ofmethodologies carried out in the laboratory, verification of quality control, as well as in thecritical assessment of laboratory data, as a student and future master of clinical analysis, having in perspective the health and well-being of the patients. Furthermore, the internship allowed good communication and integration in the laboratory team, as well as knowing how to dealwith the daily routine of the clinical analysis laboratory.The curricular internship was carried out between April 2021 and September 2021, following the analytical procedures. This report is an exercise where the activities throughout the internship are portrayed, with a description of the Pre-analytical, Analytical and Post-analytical Phase. Within the analytical phase, the fields of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology are addressed more generally and with more emphasis on Hematology and Microbiology. Thus, the preparation of the internship report allows the student to reflect and systematize all the knowledge acquired throughout the curricular units and the final internship.
