Questões emergentes da política do pós-humano

Abstract

Este artigo faz um levantamento das principais questões que se colocam atualmente no campo da teoria política, tendo em conta o desenvolvimento da relevância dos temas do pós-humanismo e do transumanismo. Neste sentido, o trabalho explora as questões relacionadas com as desigualdades no acesso ao conhecimento científico e tecnológico, com a regulamentação da utilização de tecnologias emergentes e com a crise ecológica e ambiental relacionada com o Antropoceno. As considerações finais defendem a importância da agência humana, no contexto da democratização da participação e da deliberação política aos diferentes grupos sociais em áreas como a saúde e o ambiente. This paper surveys the main issues that are currently raised in the field of political theory, taking into account the development of the relevance of the themes of post humanism and transhumanism. In this sense, the work explores the issues related with the inequalities in the access to scientific and technological knowledge, with the regulation of the use of emerging technologies and with the ecological and environmental crisis related to the Anthropocene. The final considerations defend the importance of human agency, in the context of democratizing participation and political deliberation to different social groups in areas such as health and the environment.
