Parent European Manual: Promotion, Awareness Raising and Engagement of men in Nurture Transformations

Abstract

This book is the result of our engagement with the promotion of healthy and equal relations among men and women in Europe. Following the PARENT’s project contributions, we aim to reach out to the stakeholders fighting and preventing violence against women and children – one of the priorities of the European Union (EU). PARENT European Manual gathers the case studies, activities and methodologies built on years of experience in diverse settings. The recommendations produced by PARENT’s partners in Portugal, Italy, Lithuania and Austria are a valuable tool to European policy-makers and other actors working to promote changes in social attitudes and behaviour concerning gender roles in caregiving.
