Do RSI ao CLICK – uma nova oportunidade para públicos vulneráveis em situação de desemprego (o caso de Matosinhos)

Abstract

O presente relatório resulta da realização de um estágio curricular na Rede Europeia Anti Pobreza – EAPN Portugal, constituindo uma peça fundamental para a obtenção do grau de mestre em Sociologia, pela Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra.A missão da EAPN Portugal, enquanto Organização Não Governamental, passa por cooperar na construção de uma sociedade mais justa e recíproca, em que todos sejam corresponsáveis na salvaguarda do acesso dos cidadãos a uma vida digna, fundamentada no respeito pelos Direitos Humanos e no exercício pleno de uma cidadania informada, participada e inclusiva.Enquadrado no Acordo de Cooperação entre a EAPN Portugal e o IEFP, IP, o meu estágio teve como foco principal o desenvolvimento de funções na intervenção de grupos vulneráveis na área da empregabilidade através do Projeto Click e ainda no domínio de informação e sensibilização sobre os desafios e oportunidades da digitalização e o futuro do trabalho, através de um ciclo de workshops organizados em parceria pelas duas entidades. O desemprego constitui-se um problema na sociedade em que vivemos com impactos, muitas vezes, incontornáveis. Face à crise económica internacional e à subsequente crise da dívida pública nacional que acentuaram a conjuntura de débil crescimento económico que se confirmava em Portugal desde o início do milénio, também a economia portuguesa sofreu repercussões. O desencadear da crise a partir de 2008 levou a uma situação em que as carências dos trabalhadores e desempregados são crescentes e urgentes, evidenciando, neste período, o número de pessoas a trabalhar em empregos precários e mal remunerados. O objetivo desta investigação é o de perceber de que forma o desemprego alterou a vida dos participantes do Projeto Click e qual o impacto do projeto nas suas trajetórias.

This report is the result of a curricular internship at the European Anti-Poverty Network - EAPN Portugal, constituting a fundamental piece to obtain a master's degree in Sociology, by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra.EAPN Portugal's mission, as a Non-Governmental Organization, is to cooperate in the construction of a more just and reciprocal society, in which everyone is co-responsible for safeguarding citizens' access to a dignified life, based on respect for Human Rights and the full exercise of informed, participatory and inclusive citizenship.As part of the Cooperation Agreement between EAPN Portugal and IEFP, IP, my internship had as main focus the development of functions in the intervention of vulnerable groups in the field of employability through the Click Project and also in the domain of information and awareness about the challenges and opportunities of digitalization and the future of work, through a cycle of workshops organized in partnership by the two entities.Unemployment is a problem in the society in which we live, with impacts that are often unavoidable. In the face of the international economic crisis and the subsequent national public debt crisis that accentuated the context of weak economic growth that was confirmed in Portugal since the beginning of the millennium, the Portuguese economy also suffered repercussions. The triggering of the crisis in 2008 led to a situation in which the needs of workers and unemployed are growing and urgent, showing, in this period, the number of people working in precarious and poorly paid jobs.The purpose of this investigation is to understand how unemployment has changed the lives of the Click Project participants and what the impact of the project is on their trajectories.
