A Lusitânia e a cidade gaulesa dos Éduos

Abstract

Salienta-se a riqueza cultural e científica do livro sobre as inscrições da cidade dos Aedui, um povo gaulês, da autoria de Yann Le Bohec, integrado (com o nº 50) na aplaudida Col.leció INSTRUMENTA, dirigida por José Remesal, colecção cuja riqueza cultural e científica nunca será de mais evidenciar e por cuja continuidade nos cumpre formular mui calorosos augúrios. Aproveita-se a oportunidade para estabelecer a comparação entre a Gália e a Lusitânia, insistindo-se, por exemplo, na dificuldade em identificar as organizações suprafamiliares registadas no Ocidente peninsular. In this essay are presented the different aspects between the ore-roman Lusitania and the epigraphic evidences studied by Yann Le Bohec in his book about the Aeduorum civitas in Gaule. The difficulties to know what were exactly, , the names of the pre-roman people in Roman Spain, their gods and onomastic are in discussion here, even to show how relevant is the Col.leció INSTRUMENTA, directed by Prof. Remesal, in what the Le Bohec’s book is published (nº 50, 2015).
