A Stratio nasceu em 2012 e é especializada em Inteligência Artificial. Nesse contexto, o relatório apresenta uma revisão da literatura relativamente ao Plano de Marketing e aos erros mais comuns na sua elaboração, ao marketing Business-to-Business e ao conceito de orientação para o mercado. Seguidamente, o relatório apresenta a empresa onde foi realizado o estágio, e fornece uma breve descrição das tarefas realizadas. Na medida em que o marketing tem uma grande responsabilidade no crescimento dos lucros numa empresa, é igualmente apresentado, para a solução IoT da Stratio, um Plano de marketing, que é uma ferramenta estratégica crucial para potencializar as oportunidades de negócio. O desenvolvimento do produto revolucionário da Stratio e a sua respetiva penetração no mercado requerem uma forte estratégia de marketing. A Stratio é uma empresa portuguesa muito orientada para o mercado, que está a crescer a um ritmo muito acelerado e atua num contexto de alta concorrência. A empresa continua a investir muito em Investigação e Desenvolvimento, a fim de adicionar novas funcionalidades ao seu produto e atender às necessidades dos clientes. Os seus próximos passos estarão centrados na comunicação da marca, em aumentar o portfólio de clientes em mercados existentes e expandir para novos mercados, através do contacto direto com potenciais clientes e, adicionalmente, através de parcerias, revendedores e agentes. Finalmente, apresenta-se uma discussão crítica das práticas da empresa. The report concerns the Marketing internship held at Stratio, the host company. Stratio was born in 2012 and is specialized in Artificial Intelligence. In this context the present report contains a literature review that discusses the Marketing Plan and the common mistakes in its elaboration, Business-to-Business marketing and the concept of market orientation. Subsequently, this report presents the company where the internship took place, and provides a brief description of the activities performed. Since Marketing has a major share of accountability in growing with profit in an organization, the present report presents the broad lines of a Marketing Plan, for Stratio's IoT solution, which is a fundamental strategic tool to leverage business opportunities. Stratio’s development of a revolutionary product for the automotive industry and its penetration in the market requires a strong Marketing Strategy. Stratio is a Portuguese company with a strong market orientation, that is fast growing, and operating in a really competitive environment. Stratio is investing a lot in Research and Development in order to add new features to its product and meet clients’ needs. The next steps will be focusing on communicating the brand, increasing customer’s portfolio in the existent markets and expanding to new ones, through direct contact with potential customers and also through partnerships, resellers and agents. Finally, a critical discussion of the company’s practices is presented as well. |
