Escuta de crianças e adolescentes alegadamente vítimas de abuso sexual

Abstract

O presente estudo visa analisar a atuação dos profissionais do Sistema de Garantias dos Direitos de Crianças e Adolescentes (SGDCA), responsáveis pela escuta de crianças e adolescentes alegadamente vítimas de abuso sexual no município de Fortaleza-CE, situado na região do nordeste brasileiro. Partindo de uma reflexão em torno do referencial teórico do tema da investigação, são apresentados alguns aspectos relevantes acerca do abuso sexual e das falsas acusações deste ato abusivo, além dos métodos e técnicas utilizados para efetivação da escuta de crianças e adolescentes no Brasil. O estudo empírico foi empreendido por meio de dados obtidos através de inquérito elaborado para o efeito (incluindo escala e questões abertas), em uma amostra por conveniência, composta por 75 sujeitos, profissionais do SGDCA. Foram avaliadas as conceções dos participantes acerca do abuso sexual, da escuta e da qualificação profissional, assim como foram averiguados os procedimentos utilizados durante a escuta. Os resultados evidenciam que apesar dos conhecimentos, por parte dos inquiridos, acerca do desenvolvimento infanto-juvenil e do abuso sexual, há significativas dificuldades e limitações dos profissionais tanto no que diz respeito à qualificação técnica como aos procedimentos realizados e às condições de trabalho. Foram encontradas ainda correlações significativas entre os dados sociodemográficos, o tempo de escuta e os itens analisados na escala aplicada. Além disso, foi percebido que o SGDCA não tem oferecido capacitações profissionais e condições estruturais adequadas para realização de uma escuta qualificada, gerando ônus para os profissionais e para os assistidos. Por fim, esta investigação contribuiu para reflexão dos participantes acerca da prática empreendida e poderá embasar treinamentos e capacitações técnicas acerca da escuta, visando à garantia da proteção dos direitos das crianças e dos adolescentes.

This study aims to analyze the performance of professionals in the System of Guarantees for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (SGDCA), responsible for listening to children and adolescents allegedly victims of sexual abuse in the city of Fortaleza-CE, located in the northeast region of Brazil. The research starts from a reflection on the theoretical reference of the study theme, and some relevant aspects about sexual abuse and false accusations of this abusive act are presented, as well as the methods and techniques used to effectively listen to children and adolescents in Brazil. The empirical study was carried out by means of survey data prepared to the present study (including scale and open questions), in a convenience sample of 75 participants, who were professionals of SGDCA. The conceptions of sexual abuse, listening and professional qualification were evaluated, as well as the procedures used during listening. The results show that in spite of the knowledge on the part of the respondents about the development of children and adolescents and sexual abuse, there are significant difficulties and limitations of the professionals, both in terms of technical qualification, procedures performed and working conditions. Significant correlations were also found between the sociodemographic data, the listening time and the items analyzed in the scale used. In addition, it was noticed that the SGDCA has not offered professional qualifications and adequate structural conditions to perform a qualified listening, generating burdens for the professionals and the assisted ones. Finally, this research contributed to the participants reflection about the practice undertaken, and could be based on training and technical on listening, aiming at guaranteeing the protection of the rights of children and adolescents.
