Desenvolvimento de ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) especializado para indústrias de vestuário e calçado

Abstract

Na atual conjuntura empresarial, é cada vez maior a necessidade de aumentar a eficiência dos processos de fabrico, de automatizar tarefas e de analisar as operações do funcionamento das empresas. Os sistemas ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) surgem então como resposta e, através dos seus mecanismos, é possível obter um maior número de receitas e ainda a diminuição de custos, em comparação com as empresas que não usufruem deste tipo de sistemas. Atendendo ao facto da empresa Mee-it dispor de um ERP desenvolvido através de tecnologias agora desatualizadas, o aluno foi proposto para conceber um sistema novo. Assim, o objetivo do presente estágio é o de desenvolver um conjunto de módulos que constituem um ERP para a área de indústrias têxteis e confeção e, apesar de o mesmo não incluir todos os módulos que o constituem, esta é uma versão funcional e pronta para ser aplicada em clientes reais. Durante o estágio, o orientando, para além das ferramentas adquiridas no desenvolvimento do sistema em causa, adquiriu noções e conhecimentos na área industrial e no contexto empresarial envolvente. Para o processo de desenvolvimento deste sistema recorreu-se ao modelo incremental, usufruindo do sistema por módulos, no qual é realizado um ciclo por cada, com todas as fases envolventes, até à fase final de deploy do sistema. Por último, é importante referir que o aluno, no decorrer do estágio, identificou falhas e possíveis soluções aquando o desenvolvimento do sistema e que teve de lidar com algumas restrições a nível técnico.

Nowadays, there is a growing need to increase the efficiency of manufacturing processes, automate tasks and analyze the operations of the companies. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) integrates data and processes of an organization into a single centralized system, allowing the integration of several sectors of a company into a single software platform. These systems emerge as a response, through their mechanisms, to obtain a greater number of revenues and also the reduction of costs. The company Mee-it has an ERP developed specialized in the industrial area wich can adapt easily to the structure of each company and its needs. This software was developed with technologies now outdated, therefore the student was proposed to design a new system. Thus, the objective of this internship is to develop an ERP for the textile and confectionery industry and although it does not include all the modules, it is a functional version and ready to be installed in real clients. During the internship, the student, in addition to the tools acquired in the system development, acquired knowledge on the industrial area and on the business context. For the process of development of this system we resorted to the incremental model, using the system by modules, in which one cycle is performed for each, with all the surrounding phases, until the final phase of deploy of the system. Lastly, it is important to note that the student identified failures and possible solutions when developing the system and dealt with some constraints at the technical level.
