Jornalismo Cultural: A Cobertura Cultura na TSF.

Abstract

A TSF é uma rádio de referência, considerada como um dos mais importantes e respeitados órgãos de comunicação nacional. No âmbito da última etapa do Mestrado em Jornalismo e Comunicação da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, o relatório apresenta o resultado dos três meses de estágio realizado na redação de informação da TSF de Lisboa, entre outubro e janeiro de 2018. O presente relatório pretende fazer um balanço descritivo do que foi o estágio, que decorreu entre 23 de outubro de 2017 e 19 de janeiro de 2018. Descreve a experiência enquanto estagiária, assim como as tarefas desenvolvidas e as dificuldades sentidas. O estudo de caso incide sobre a cobertura cultural na rádio TSF. O objetivo é analisar como é feito o jornalismo cultural na rádio e perspetivar o futuro do mesmo. É também de interesse analisar o tempo dedicado às peças culturais nos noticiários da TSF, pelo que me submeti a estudar os noticiários da manhã 2 relativos às duas últimas semanas do meu estágio. Por fim, é proposto uma reflexão sobre o jornalismo cultural. A metodologia para a realização do relatório, passará por uma revisão bibliográfica, pela análise de conteúdo e realização de entrevistas. Serão elaboradas leituras de artigos, livros e estudos de caso, de forma a reunir a informação necessária para o desenvolvimento do tema em questão. A análise consistirá na recolha de áudios dos noticiários das 11 horas e das 14 horas durante duas semanas (de 8 de janeiro a 19 de janeiro). O objetivo será retirar conclusões acerca do tempo dedicado à cultura nos noticiários da manhã 2, os temas mais abordados e o total de peças que passaram em antena. As entrevistas serão um contributo importante e necessário para o enriquecimento desta investigação. Uma vez que existe pouca bibliografia sobre o jornalismo cultural na rádio, falar com os profissionais ajudará a esclarecer como é feita a cobertura cultural, nomeadamente, na rádio TSF, que aspetos há a melhorar, o que se fazia no passado e as diferentes opiniões sobre o tema.

TSF is a reference in the national radio, considered as one of the most important and most respected organs of national communication. This essay comes in the framework of the Master’s in journalism and Communication in the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra. This report is an overview of what was the curricular internship of three months, that took place between October and January of 2018, in the information’s department, of TSF of Lisbon. The report in question describes the experiences as an intern, in the internship that occur between October 23 of 2017 and 19 of January of 2018, as well as the tasks developed, and the difficulties felt during it. The study of case is all about the cultural journalism in the TSF radio. The objective is to analyse how the cultural journalism is accomplished in/through the radio and to foresee its future. It’s also important to analyse the time dedicated to the culture events on the TSF news. Being said that, I focused on studying the morning news during my final two weeks of my internship. In the end, it is proposed a reflection about the cultural journalism. The methodology used for the realization of this report will be a bibliographical review, content analysis and interviews. Readings of articles, books and case studies will be prepared to gather the necessary information for the development of the subject in question. The analysis will consist of the collection of news audios from 11 am and 2 pm for two weeks (from January 8 to January 19). The aim will be to draw conclusions about the time dedicated to culture in the morning news as well as the topics most covered and the total of pieces that have been broadcast. The interviews will be an important and necessary contribution to the enrichment of this research. Since there is little bibliography on cultural journalism on the radio, talking to professionals will help to clarify how cultural coverage is made, namely on TSF radio, what matters to improve, what has been done in the past and the different opinions on the theme.
