LerniLGP Aplicação de Língua Gestual Portuguesa Para Dispositivos Móveis

Abstract

A Língua Gestual Portuguesa é a língua através da qual grande parte da comunidade surda comunica entre si; é produzida por movimentos das mãos, do corpo, por expressões faciais e pela receção visual. Não é apenas utilizada pela comunidade surda, mas igualmente por toda a comunidade envolvente, como familiares de surdos, educadores, professores, técnicos, entre outros. Possui um vocabulário e gramática própria, que por sua vez se tornam distintos dos da Língua Portuguesa. Sendo que cada país possui a sua própria Língua Gestual, esta proposta é unicamente direcionada para a Língua Gestual Portuguesa. O intuito desta proposta é a criação de mecanismos para a divulgação e disseminação desta língua através de dispositivos móveis.

The Portuguese Sign Language is the language through which much of the deaf community communicate among themselves, it is produced by movements of the hands, body, facial expressions and the visual reception. It is not only used by the deaf community, but also by the surrounding community, as parents of deaf people, educators, teachers, technicians, among others. It has its own vocabulary and grammar, which in turn become distinct from the Portuguese. Since each country has its own sign language, this proposal is only directed to the Portuguese Sign Language. The aim of this proposal is the creation of mechanisms for the dissemination and spread of this language via mobile devices.
