doentes. Estas são provocadas por diversos
microrganismos, nomeadamente os fungos.
Neste trabalho avaliou-se a terapêutica
instituída aos doentes com infecções fúngicas
internados na Unidade de Queimados (U.Q.)
dos Hospitais Universitários de Coimbra
(H.U.C.), entre Janeiro de 2003 e Dezembro de
2008. Neste grupo de doentes, a infecção
fúngica mais frequente foi por Candida
albicans, sendo o género Candida o mais
frequentemente isolado. O antifúngico mais
prescrito nestes doentes foi a Anfotericina B,
seguido pelo Voriconazol, Fluconazol e
Caspofungina.
The hospital infections are one of the main factors responsible for the prolongation of the internment period of the sick people. These are provoked by diverse microorganisms, nominated the fungus. This work evaluates the instituted therapeutics in hospitalized patients with fungal infections in the Unidade de Queimados (U.Q.) of the Hospitais da Universidade de Coimbra (H.U.C.), between January of 2003 and December of 2008. In this group, the most common fungal infection was for Candida albicans, being the gender Candida the more recurrent. The most prescribed antifungal was Anfotericina B, followed for the Voriconazol, Fluconazol and Caspofungina. It was verified that mortality in in burnt people with fungal infection is superior to the one of the none infected One concluded that the instituted therapeutics to the treatment of this type of sick people is with fungal infection Is adequate. |
