Património Cultural como Recurso Turístico: estudo de caso em Delmiro Gouveia – Alagoas (Brasil)

Abstract

O património cultural representa a história de vida da sociedade. Ele é fruto das heranças que marcam os lugares, e seu reconhecimento é fundamental para a preservação da narrativa da humanidade. A pesquisa sobre o Património Cultural como Recurso Turístico: estudo de caso em Delmiro Gouveia – Alagoas (Brasil); pretendeu revalorizar o património cultural presente em Delmiro Gouveia, com apresentação dos bens existentes e afirmação do turismo como forma de reconhecer, proteger e valorizar o património. A metodologia utilizada considerou três momentos. No primeiro, realizou-se recolha e leitura das bibliografias e documentos relacionados ao património, espaço e turismo. No segundo, efetuou-se a pesquisa em campo, com coleta de informações sobre o património e turismo em Delmiro. No terceiro, foi realizado o tratamento dos dados através de técnicas estatísticas e das ferramentas SIG. A investigação é constituída em duas partes. Na primeira, são apresentados os dois primeiros capítulos que abordam o património no contexto internacional e no Brasil, as definições do conceito de património cultural (material, imaterial e natural), a relação existente entre património cultural e os lugares, a noção de espaço e imagem, e o turismo como forma de valorização do património. Na segunda parte, são apresentados os dois capítulos que tratam do estudo de caso. O primeiro apresenta informações acerca do património e turismo existente no território ao qual o município de Delmiro está inserido. O segundo disserta sobre o património e turismo presentes em Delmiro, e considera as influências que os territórios circunvizinhos proporcionam. Os resultados apresentam os dados recolhidos sobre o património cultural e turismo em Delmiro, e a forma como esses bens são valorizados através do turismo. Contudo, esta investigação busca revalorizar o património cultural do município de Delmiro Gouveia, esse que representa a história do lugar e oferece potencial para o desenvolvimento económico e social através do turismo.

Cultural heritage is the story of the life of society. It is the result of inheritances that mark the places, and its recognition is fundamental to preservation of humanity's narrative. Research on the Cultural Heritage as Tourist Resource: case study in Delmiro Gouveia - Alagoas (Brazil); intended to revalue the present cultural heritage in Delmiro Gouveia, with presentation of existing assets and tourism as a form of affirmation recognize, protect and enhance the heritage. The methodology considered three stages. The first was held collection and reading of bibliographies and documents related to heritage, space and tourism. In the second, he was executed research in the field, gathering information about the heritage and tourism Delmiro. The third was performed using data processing techniques statistics and GIS tools. The investigation is made in two parts. At first, the first two chapters that cover heritage are presented in internationally and in Brazil, cultural heritage concept settings (material, immaterial and natural), the relationship between cultural heritage and places, the notion of space and image, and tourism as a form of appreciation patrimony. In the second part, the two chapters are presented that deal with case study. The first displays information about the heritage and tourism on the territory of which the city of Delmiro is inserted. The second talks about the heritage and tourism present in Delmiro, and considers the influences the surrounding territories provide. The results are the data on the cultural heritage and tourism in Delmiro, and the form as these goods are valued through tourism. However, this research search revalue the cultural heritage of the city of Delmiro Gouveia, the one it is the history of the place and offers the potential for economic development and social through tourism.
