Paisagem Cultural e o Elétrico na Cidade de Coimbra: Propostas para a sua reintrodução turística

Abstract

O trabalho de investigação aqui proposto defende a importância da identidade e da memória expressas no elétrico como património cultural. O recurso a uma análise diacrónica do seu uso como meio de transporte, visa demonstrar o seu potencial turístico como (re)criador de valores paisagísticos, patrimoniais, identitários e culturais. O elétrico assumiu um papel importante na vida das pessoas, nas suas vivências e experiências individuais e coletivas, que se torna um símbolo com identidade cultural. Tem um forte poder de sedução capaz de mudar a paisagem urbana, materializar-se num geossímbolo e até transformar o uso de novos espaços sociais, transportando-nos a um mundo imaginário repleto de simbolismo e nostalgia de um tempo passado. O elétrico poderá ser um património de extrema relevância na (re)criação de novos territórios turísticos através de representações que se territorializam, pois modificam os lugares e as paisagens urbanas. É por isso, importante fazer uma identificação do valor simbólico e funcional e discutirem que medida se tornou objeto de patrimonialização, recorrendo a um novo paradigma museológico no uso das representações e da multissensorialidade.

The research work proposed here argues for the importance of identity and memory expressed in the electric has cultural heritage. The use of a diachronic analysis of his use has transportation, aims to demonstrate their tourism potential as (re)creator of landscape values, heritage and cultural. The electric assumed such an important role in people's lives, which turned out to be part not only of their individual and collective experiences, as well, was connected to a cultural identity. Has a strong seductive power capable of changing the urban landscape, materialize in a geosímbol and to transform the use of new social spaces, transports us to an imaginary world full of symbolism and nostalgia for a past time. The electric traction is therefore a heritage of great relevance for the (re)creation of new tourist territories through representations that territorialisation change places and urban landscapes. It is therefore essential to make an identification of the symbolic and functional value and to what extent has become the subject of patrimonialization, using a new museum paradigm in the use of representations and multisensoriality
