dc.description.abstractIn his play «Phoenissae», Euripides gives a dramatic shape to a typical military description in catalogue, generally known as «teichoscopia», which reveals the direct influence of the «Iliad». The analysis of the two texts, dramatic and epic, shows technical, composite, thematic and stylistic affinities.At the same time, it shows the innovations introduced by Euripides in the epic structure.en_US
