The present study was carried out with football players: Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19. The study was carried out through the Cardiac Frequency in a training situation with a reduced number of players (4x4) and in a space context (20mx20m, 30mx30m and 40mx40m), during 10 minutes and a training game. The sample is composed by 42 male football players: 14 Under 15, 14 Under 17 and 14 Under 19, all players are playing in the respective district championship in the Football Association of Coimbra in 2008/2009. The players’ chronological age is between 12,6 and 19,3. The beginners, youth and juniors’ average are respectively 14,0± 0,8, 16,1 ± 0,5 and 18,4± 0,5. It was considered the following variables: chronological age, size, mass, variables of training (number of training epoch, volume of training epoch, number of micro cycle sessions), variables of game (number of epoch games, volume of epoch games), situations with reduced number and space game and the interplay of the age groups, situation of the training game, Cardiac Frequency. In the data handling was made a descriptive analysis (central tendency statistic), inferential statistic (comparison – “Anova bivariada” with post hoc de Bonferroni) of the CF in the different episodes observed during the training, during the game in spaces, and with a reduced number of players and in a formal training game, comparing the CF between the trainings and the game. The significance level remains at 5%. In order to know the relation and association degree between the variables, it was used the partial correlation with variables control (P≤0,05). In the reduced games, the greater percentage of time lies in the range of CF 181-200bpm, while in the training game lies in the range of CF 161-180bpm. Statistically, there are some significant differences in the variables (size, mass, CFméd30x30, CF máx30x30, CFmín40x40, CFméd1st half, CFmáx2nd half, and Volume of Training Epoch) according to the grade. Statistically, there are significant relations of the average values of CFméd: between the situation 20x20 and the situations 30x30 (moderate positive), 40x40 (average positive) and 1st half of the game (moderate positive); between the situation 40x40 and the 1st half of the game (moderate positive) and the 2nd half of the game (moderate positive); between the 1st half of the game and the 2nd half of the game (strong positive). XII Statistically, there are significant relations of the average values of CFmáx: between the situation 20x20 and the situations 30x30 (average positive), 40x40 (average positive), 1st half of the game (average positive) and the 2nd half of the game (moderate positive); between the situation 30x30 and the situation 40x40 (moderate positive); between the situation 40x40 and the 1st half of the game (moderate positive) and the 2nd half of the game (moderate positive); between the 1st half of the game and the 2nd half of the game (strong positive).
