Turismo cultural e religioso no distrito de Coimbra : mosteiros e conventos : viagem entre o sagrado e profano

Abstract

A ideia central que presidiu à escolha do tema a abordar no presente trabalho foi estudar o Património religioso e cultural no distrito de Coimbra, que poderia ser aproveitado para fins turísticos e culturais através da elaboração de um possível roteiro turístico-religiosa, interligando o Turismo religioso com o Turismo Cultural, que incidiria no desenvolvimento local do distrito. Desde logo, decide-se destacar as igrejas, conventos, mosteiros, festas religiosas, etc., as mais interessantes e representativas do distrito da nossa ponte de vista, que poderiam contribuir para o desenvolvimento local deste. No presente trabalho, os objectivos fundamentais são: - Definir o Turismo Cultural e Religioso -Tentar perceber a provável ligação/relação entre a religião e o turismo - Reflectir sobre as origens, a história do Turismo Religioso - Interligar o Turismo religioso e Turismo cultural - Definir e Caracterizar o distrito de Coimbra a nível Geográfico - Fazer o inventário do património religioso do distrito - Considerar as igrejas com potencial turístico e cultural para o Desenvolvimento Local do distrito - Destacar e apresentar os Mosteiros e Conventos na zona estudada interligando o sagrado com o profano. - Elaborar um roteiro turistíco, cultural e religioso, misturando o religioso e o profano.

The central idea behind the choice of the topic to deal with in this work was to study the religious and cultural heritage existing in the district of Coimbra, which could be used for tourism and cultural proposes through the elaboration of a possible roadmap based on the religious attractions, linking the concepts of Religious Tourism and Cultural Tourism, with its implications upon the local development. From the outset, we have decided to highlight the churches, convents, monasteries, religious events, choosing the most interesting and representative ones., that also have a contribution on the local development. In this work, the fundamental ideas are: - Defining Cultural and Religious Tourism - Understanding the probable connection/relationship between Religion and Tourism - Reflecting upon the origins and the history of Religious Tourism - Intersecting Religious Tourism and Cultural Tourism - Defining and to characterize the district of Coimbra at its geographical level - Making an inventory of the religious heritage existing in the district of Coimbra - Identifying the churches with touristic and cultural potential, needed for the local development - Highlighting and to present the monasteries and convents in the studied area - Suggesting a possible touristic route upon the Religious and Cultural Tourism in the district of Coimbra
