dc.description.sponsorship | t is often said that artistic work is naturally collaborative. Here, we examine whether that a rmation includes art workers who are not artists. In what ways do producers and cultural managers experience collaboration? In this article, we aim to shed light on practical and discursive inconsistencies regarding collaboration in the field of performing arts, with a special focus on production and management. We will also attempt to establish links between the collaborative dynamics in focus and the inescapable context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Through a close examination of emergent public discourses, we will discuss whether the extraordinary circumstances brought about by the pandemic could eventually lead to an acceleration of change in established ways of producing and managing performing arts. | pt |
