Políticas de fomento à internacionalização da Cultura em Portugal

Abstract

O estudo apresenta as políticas de fomento à internacionalização da Cultura empreendidas por Portugal, destacando o contexto do seu surgimento e o panorama atual (2013 a 2018), com foco nas princi- pais instituições envolvidas nesse processo: Direção Geral das Artes, Instituto Camões e Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Verifica os recursos que essas instituições dispõem e os programas e projetos que realizam, e traça uma análise comparativa entre elas. Nas considerações finais são apresentadas reflexões acerca do posicionamento de Portugal no mercado cultura global e o avanço na agenda da internacionalização da cultura no país, com base na ideia da Cultura como fator para se alcançar o Desenvolvimento.

The study presents policies to promote the internationalization of the culture undertaken by Portugal, highlighting the context of its emergence and the current panorama (2013 to 2018), focusing on the main institutions involved in the process: Direção Geral das Artes, Camões Institute and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Check the resources that these institutions have, also programs and projects they carry out and draw a comparative analysis between them. In the final considerations, we present a reflection about the position of Portugal in the global cultural market and the progress in the agenda of internationalization of culture in the country, based on the idea of Culture as a factor for achieve development.
