História e Educação Histórica: que diálogos e desafios?

Abstract

O presente artigo pretende explorar, através de uma abordagem qualitativa e reflexiva de literatura de referência, possíveis interações entre os campos filosóficos- epistemológicos da História e da Educação, no desenvolvimento do pensamento histórico. A partir de um percurso pelas principais características da construção da narrativa histórica e dos seus desafios epistemológicos, nomeadamente as questões de interpretação, posicionamento de perspetiva e enfoque cultural na produção de conhecimento histórico, questionaremos como é possível articular princípios de multiperspetivismo e universalismo na aprendizagem histórica intercultural, apresentando e debatendo alguns modelos que procuram explicitar como a experiência histórica se pode desenvolver para fomentar a aprendizagem e contribuir para a formação de consciência histórica.

The present article aims to explore, through a qualitative and reflective approach to the reference literature, the possible interactions between the philosophical-epistemological fields of History and Education, in the development of historical thinking. Starting from a journey through the main features of the construction of historical narrative and its epistemological challenges, namely the issues of interpretation, perspective positioning and cultural focus in the production of historical knowledge, we will question how it might be possible to articulate principles of multiperspectivism and universalism in intercultural historical learning, presenting and discussing some models which seek to explain how historical experience can be developed to foster learning and contribute to the formation of historical consciousness.
