A Importância da Promoção de Competências Socioemocionais em Jovens do Ensino Profissional

Abstract

O relatório que aqui se apresenta tem por objetivo dar conta do trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio curricular do Mestrado em Ciências da Educação da Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra, que teve lugar numa escola profissional, designada por Instituto Técnico Artístico e Profissional de Coimbra (ITAP), com as suas instalações físicas sediadas na zona da Casa Branca, Coimbra, escola essa que tem todos os seus direitos e obrigações da responsabilidade da PRODESO - Ensino Profissional, E.M., Lda.A proposta de Projeto de Estágio traduz-se numa série de atividades que foi possível realizar na Instituição entre os meses de setembro de 2021 a maio e 2022, nomeadamente: acompanhamentos psicopedagógicos, onde seguimos e apoiamos alunos durante o ano letivo nas suas necessidades educativas e superação de dificuldades; sessões de promoção de competências socioemocionais, onde foi possível conceber todo um plano de sessões, lecionadas em formato de workshops e visavam ajudar os/as estudantes a adquirir competências transversais valorizadas no mercado de trabalho, tais como competências comunicacionais, competências de (auto)gestão emocional, competências de gestão de conflitos e de inteligência interpessoal; Relatórios Técnico-Pedagógicos (RTP) e atividades promovidas pelo Gabinete de Apoio ao Aluno (GAA), onde foi possível colaborar com a Equipa Multidisciplinar de Apoio à Educação Inclusiva na elaboração e atualização dos RTP e participar ativamente nas diversas atividades promovidas pela escola para os alunos, organizadas pelo GAA; projetos em parceria com o ITAP, tendo sido possível contribuir e ajudar na logística da implementação de sessões de projetos de outras instituições em parceria com o ITAP para a promoção de aprendizagens, orientação e educação dos alunos em diversos âmbitos.Para além das atividades acima referidas, o estágio curricular no ITAP proporcionou-nos também a oportunidade de participar em reuniões conjuntas entre alunos, encarregados de educação e psicóloga responsável pelo GAA, reuniões com professores, bem como na observação do quotidiano dos professores, alunos, funcionários, psicóloga e do funcionamento da instituição como um todo.

The Report presented here aims to account for the work developed in the curricular internship of the Master's Degree in Educational Sciences of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, which took place in a professional school, called Instituto Técnico Artístico e Profissional de Coimbra (ITAP), with its physical facilities based in the area of the Casa Branca, in the city of Coimbra. The school that has all its rights and obligations under the responsibility of PRODESO - Ensino Profissional, E.M., Lda.The proposal of the internship Project consists into a series of activities that were possible to perform in the institution between the months of September 2021 to May and 2022, namely: psychopedagogical support, where we follow and supervise students during the school year in their educational needs and overcoming difficulties; sessions promoting socio-emotional skills, where it was possible to devise a whole plan of sessions, taught in the form of workshops and aimed to help students to acquire transversal competencies valued in the labor market, such as communication skills, competencies of emotional (self)management, conflict management skills and interpersonal intelligence; Technical-Pedagogical Reports (RTP) and activities promoted by the Student Support Office (GAA), where it was possible to collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team of Support for Inclusive Education in the preparation and updating of RTP and actively participate in the various activities promoted by the school for students, organized by GAA; projects in partnership with ITAP, having been able to contribute and assist in the logistics of the implementation of project sessions of other institutions in partnership with ITAP for the promotion of learning, guidance and education of students in various areas.In addition to the activities mentioned above, the curricular internship at ITAP also provided us with the opportunity to participate in joint meetings between students, parents and psychologists responsible for GAA, meetings with teachers, as well as in observing the daily lives of teachers, students, staff, psychologists and the functioning of the institution as a whole.
