A Música como Recurso Didático no Ensino de Filosofia

Abstract

Este Relatório de Estágio A Música como Recurso Didático no Ensino de Filosofia é realizado no âmbito da unidade curricular “Estágio e Relatório Final” do Mestrado de Ensino de Filosofia no Ensino Secundário da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, que tem como objetivo principal dinamizar as aulas de Filosofia através de diferentes explorações musicais, incluindo a utilização de música ambiente e de canções analisadas pela lente filosófica.O presente relatório está organizado em torno de duas partes, a primeira relacionada com a Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada, onde é feita uma análise crítica sobre o enquadramento legal, o currículo e o contexto educativo do Agrupamento de Escolas de Oliveira do Bairro, e a segunda relacionada com a aplicação da música como ferramenta didática, onde será fundamentado o valor da música, exemplificadas as funções da música em contexto de sala de aula e descritas outras metodologias trabalhadas no Estágio. As reflexões recaem sobretudo nas funções que a música pode assumir no contexto escolar e na relação entre música e filosofia. Esta relação assume uma importância interdisciplinar quando se evidencia as características da natureza humana, especialmente as habilidades musicais e inquietações filosóficas como forma de interação com o mundo. Neste sentido, a música pode ter uma função cognitiva, emocional e educacional. A função educacional é importante principalmente no processo de alfabetização em estágios primários do desenvolvimento humano e na estimulação do espírito crítico na adolescência.Neste sentido, a exploração dos conteúdos programáticos das Aprendizagens Essenciais de Filosofia com o recurso musical pode contribuir para uma aprendizagem mais significativa. A eficácia do recurso musical no ensino da filosofia foi estudada de forma contínua em contexto de sala de aula e através de inquéritos online. A investigação demonstrou que o recurso musical enriqueceu o ensino da filosofia e motivou a exploração de novas músicas à luz da filosofia.

This Internship Report Music as a Didactic Resource in the Teaching of Philosophy was carried out within the scope of the curricular unit "Internship and Final Report" of the Master's Degree in Philosophy Teaching in Secondary Education at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, which main objective is to stimulate Philosophy classes through different musical explorations, including both the use of ambient music and songs analysed through the philosophical lens.This report is organized around two parts, the first related to Supervised Pedagogical Practice, where a critical analysis is made of the legal framework, curriculum and educational context of the Agrupamento de Escolas de Oliveira do Bairro, and the second part related with the application of music as a didactic tool, where the value of music will be grounded, the functions of music in the classroom context will be exemplified and other methodologies used in the Internship will be described.The reflection fall on the functions that music can assume in the school context and in the relationship between music and philosophy. This relationship assumes an interdisciplinary importance when the characteristics of human nature are highlighted, especially musical skills and philosophical concerns as a way of interacting with the world. In this sense, music can have a cognitive, emotional and educational function. The educational function is especially important in the literacy process in early stages of human development and in stimulating critical thinking in adolescence.In this sense, the exploration of the syllabus of the Essential Learning of Philosophy with the musical resource can contribute to a more meaningful learning. The effectiveness of the musical resource in teaching philosophy was studied continuously in the classroom context and through online surveys. The investigation showed that musical resources enriched the teaching of philosophy and motivated the exploration of new music in the light of Philosophy.
