Oferta e Procura Turística de Proença-a-Nova: Relatório de Estágio

Abstract

O presente relatório de Mestrado visa compreender a oferta e procura turística do Município de Proença-a-Nova. Este estudo apresenta-se como inovador, uma vez que é um território pouco investigado em termos turísticos, pretendendo-se conhecer a atividade turística de Proença-a-Nova. A oferta e procura integram o sistema turístico. A oferta de um destino turístico deve possuir elementos essenciais de modo a satisfazer a procura turística: recursos turísticos; infraestruturas; equipamentos e acessibilidades e transportes. Já a procura turística é influenciada pelas motivações dos turistas, pela imagem que estes têm do destino e pela perceção de risco que associam a determinado território. Para a elaboração do relatório foi efetuado um levantamento da oferta turística do território e, de modo a complementar a informação recolhida ao longo da investigação, foram efetuadas duas entrevistas: a primeira sobre a oferta turística e a segunda acerca dos eventos do concelho de Proença-a-Nova. Para ter uma maior perceção e conhecimento da procura turística do destino foram aplicados inquéritos por questionário aos visitantes do território com a colaboração de alguns gerentes de alojamentos locais, empreendimentos turísticos, estabelecimentos de restauração e de técnicos do posto de turismo de Proença-a-Nova. Os resultados permitiram perceber que a natureza é a motivação principal para a escolha do destino e o território é visto como agradável, relaxante e positivo por parte da procura turística. Identicamente, apurou-se que a maioria dos visitantes recomendaria o destino Proença-a-Nova para visitar e tenciona regressar ao concelho.

The present master’s report aims to understand the tourism supply and demand in the municipality of Proença-a-Nova. This study presents itself as innovative, in a territory with little investigation in terms of tourism, by intending to know the tourism activity of Proença-a-Nova.Supply and demand are part of the tourism system. The offer of a tourism destination must have essential elements to satisfy tourism demand: tourism resources; infrastructures; equipment and accessibility and transport. On the other hand, tourism demand is influenced by tourists' motivations, the image they have of the destination and the perception of risk they associate with a given territory.For the elaboration of the report, a survey of the tourism offer of the territory was carried out and, to complement the information collected during the investigation, two interviews were carried out: the first about the tourism offer and the second about the events of Proença-a-Nova. To achieve a wider perception and knowledge of the tourism demand of the destination, surveys were applied by questionnaires to visitors to the territory with the collaboration of some managers of local accommodations, tourism enterprises, catering establishments and technicians from the tourism office of Proença-a Nova. The results showed that nature is the main motivation for choosing the destination and the territory is seen as pleasant, relaxing, and positive by tourism demand. Likewise, it was found that most visitors would recommend the destination Proença-a-Nova to visit and intend to return to the municipality.
