Digitalização de Processos Industriais numa Empresa do Setor da Mobilidade Elétrica

Abstract

O tratamento e gestão eficiente da informação, é nos dias de hoje, uma preocupação das organizações tendo em conta a quantidade de informação existente no seu meio envolvente. Assim, as organizações necessitam de se tornar mais competitivas por meio da melhoria dos seus processos, que por sua vez impulsionará de forma positiva a performance da empresa. Deste modo, a digitalização de processos industriais apresenta-se como uma solução para impulsionar a posição das organizações no mercado em que se inserem. A Efacec Power Soluctions apresenta-se como uma empresa tecnológica e, por esta mesma razão, tem grande potencial para maturar digitalmente. A digitalização dentro da organização encontra-se num avançado estado de implementação em alguns departamentos da unidade industrial, o que não é o caso do departamento de produção de carregadores para veículos elétricos, onde o projeto desta tese foi desenvolvido. Portanto, o presente projeto surgiu com o intuito de estudar e efetuar a implementação da digitalização nos processos do departamento da produção de carregadores de veículos elétricos, com recurso ao Microsoft Excel e ao Microsoft Power BI. Inicialmente foi necessário estudar os processos produtivos e os métodos de trabalho da unidade industrial, procurando efetuar um levantamento de todas as causas que levaram a que houvesse falta de fiabilidade na informação transmitida no departamento e das capacidades da organização para evoluir digitalmente. Posto isto, surgiu a necessidade de se criar um documento Excel standard para homogeneizar e tornar fiável a informação que circulava dentro da produção. O primeiro passo passou pela recolha e análise da informação necessária, de seguida a construção do referido documento e, por fim, transpor a informação para uma base de dados para uma melhor análise visual. Prontamente, averiguou-se a necessidade de apresentar a informação recolhida de forma fácil e intuitiva. Para tal, recorreu-se ao Microsoft Power BI para a apresentar e possibilitar a construção de indicadores de performance, para com base nestes se identificar os problemas existentes e procurar resolvê-los. O projeto permitiu comprovar a necessidade e benefícios da implementação da digitalização nos processos industriais da unidade fabril, dado que foi possível verificar a evolução da apresentação da informação e dos respetivos indicadores e, para além disso, permitiu identificar problemas com recurso à visualização de dados, que não tinham sido previamente identificados.

The efficient treatment and management of information, is nowadays, a concern of organizations considering the amount of information in their surroundings. Thus, organizations need to become more competitive through the improvement of their processes, which in turn will positively boost the performance of the company. Thus, the digitalization of industrial processes presents itself as a solution to boost the position of organizations in the market in which they operate. Efacec Power Soluctions presents itself as a technological company and, for this same reason, has great potential to mature digitally. The digitalization within the organization is in an advanced state of implementation in some departments of the industrial unit, which is not the case in the production department of chargers for electric vehicles, where the project of this thesis was developed. Therefore, this project came up with the intention of studying and implementing the digitalization in the processes of the production department of electric vehicle chargers, using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI. Initially, it was necessary to study the productive processes and working methods of the seeking to make a survey of all the causes that led to a lack of reliability in the information transmitted in the department and the capabilities of the organization to evolve digitally. That said, the need arose to create a standard Excel document to homogenize and make reliable the information circulating within the production. The first step was to collect and analyze the necessary information, then build the document and finally transpose the information to a database for better visual analysis. Promptly, it was verified the need to present the collected information in an easy and intuitive way. To this end, Microsoft Power BI was used to present and enable the construction of performance indicators, to, based on these, identify the existing problems and seek to solve them. The project proved the need and benefits of implementing digitalization in the industrial processes of the plant, since it was possible to verify the evolution of the presentation of information and its indicators and, in addition, it allowed to identify problems using data visualization, which had not been previously identified.
