dc.description.abstract | Nas obras literárias da pós-memória, a figura do pai ausente é recorrente quando se quer abordar a questão da persistência do trauma pós-colonial nas gerações seguintes. Em Portugal, o romance Estranha Guerra de Uso Comum, de Paulo Faria, constitui talvez o exemplo mais significativo deste diálogo post-mortem à volta de um inquérito sobre a transmissão da experiência da guerra do pai para o filho. Contudo, neste conjunto de obras, há alguns casos em que o filho decide, através da escrita, reviver o passado traumático do pai desde o interior, num enredo que descreve com pormenores o tempo dos combates do progenitor. Nestes casos, o narrador privilegia os cenários do passado bélico para contar a guerra do pai como se ele estivesse no seu lugar. | pt |
