O Programa de Qualificação Docente e Ensino de Língua Portuguesa em Timor-Leste se iniciou 2005, financiado pela CAPES. Em 2009, a Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina passou a coordenar o programa. A pesquisa envolve o estudo de documentos e análises de discurso de brasileiros que atuaram em Timor-Leste, explicitando alguns limites, possibilidades e avanços, incluindo-se os desafios para desenhar algumas referências mais adequadas. As problematizações envolvendo a colonialidade do saber/poder, as atuações assistencialistas, a consolidação da paz, entre outras, animam reflexões que podem ser bem vindas em futuras cooperações. This article presents reflections about the Brazilian cooperation in the education of Timor-Leste teachers. We start from a larger project under the Teacher Education Program and Portuguese Language Teaching in Timor-Leste (PQLP), managed by CAPES and coordinated by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) since 2009. In order to better understand this international cooperation, we try to understand the production conditions of the historical, sociocultural and political context. The research involves the study of documents and discourses analyses of Brazilian who worked in East Timor. In addition, we propose to explain some limits, possibilities and progresses in our working trajectory, including the challenges to draw some more appropriate references. In these analyses, the questioning involving the coloniality of knowledge/ power, the welfare performances, peacebuilding, among others, encourage reflections that can be welcome in future cooperation. |
