Abstract

A propósito de um romance que tem Peniche por cenário e onde se compendiam, de certo modo, as múltiplas lendas que correm sobre essa localidade, que foi ilha há muito tempo, procura mostrar-se como se torna aliciante entrelaçar os patrimónios – o imaterial, o histórico e o arqueológico – a fim de mais eficazmente se promover a sua preservação e valorização. A novel where the scenery is the city of Peniche, an Atlantic Portuguese port and an ancient enigmatic island, and where the various patrimonies – the legends, the history, the archaeological evidences... – are always present can show us that we can also use the literature to have an excellent contribute to give value and to preserve the memories of the Past.
