A violência faz parte do nosso cotidiano.
We are often exposed to the factors that generate violence. Violence is part of our daily lives. Violent political behavior, spread through social networks, is an approach that inserts violence in the context of cyber-activism, a term used to describe the actions of political, cultural and socio-environmental mobilization, highlighted by the extraordinary speed of organizing crowds through new media. Based on this approach, this article seeks to demonstrate that violent political behavior, present in Brazilian social networks after the public protests of 2013, helped to promote the political rise of conservative parliamentarians who, after being elected or consecrated at the polls in 2014, to act in favor of approving projects that address any kind of equality for social minorities and extol the "absolute hatred of human rights”. These parliamentary initiatives are largely harmful to human rights and democratic political culture stemming from the 1988 Constitution.
