dc.description.abstractVarious schemes of producing the 3.5-eV isomer of 229mTh by radiative pumping the atom of 229Th in the ground state are considered. Due to the resonance properties of the electron shell, some of the schemes turn out to be more effective than radiative pumping the bare nucleus of the same element.en_US
