Abstract

Poeta “menor” da geração da Presença, Francisco Bugalho distinguese pelo Bucolismo que assinala toda a sua obra. O presente estudo procura situar essa versão particular da escrita bucólica no âmbito da poesia portuguesa do século XX. Tudo indica que estamos perante uma íntima relação entre a Poesia e a Vida e que ambas se encontram marcadas por uma invulgar atitude de discrição e renúncia.

A “minor” poet from the Presença generation, Francisco Bugalho distinguishes himself by the Bucolic feeling that marks all his work. The present study tries to situate this particular kind of bucolic writing in the 20th century Portuguese poetry. Everything points to a close relationship between Poetry and Life, both being marked by an unusual attitude of discretion and renouncement.
