A ética sobre a linha: finitude, técnica e linguagem em Martin Heidegger

Abstract

Neste trabalho, procuraremos analisar a dimensão de uma ética originária a partir da noção heideggeriana de finitude, técnica e linguagem, partindo de "Sein und Zeit" para, então, discutir as obras tardias de Heidegger, elaboradas nos anos 50. Nossa hipótese é de que o acolhimento do ser, que constitui o ponto de arranque fundamental subjacente à meditação heideggeriana sobre a questão da técnica, a linguagem e o habitar poético, traz consigo implicações de matiz ético, pois permite pensar a possibilidade de um genuíno acolhimento do outro como outro. E, para tanto, faz-se preciso a desconstrução do processo de objetivação total na metafísica, em vista de um ek-sistir outro, um outro morar junto (zusammen wohnen) do próximo. Esta ética exigirá do homem um ter-que-corresponder à interpelação do ser, que brota da própria atitude (Haltung) humana de experienciar a morte enquanto morte. Exigirá um (re)aprender a morar sobre a terra, resguardando-se do perigo ao qual está subjugado no reino da Gestell, isto é, na medida em que os entes se revelam ao homem como a reserva (Bestand) do que é meramente calculável, negociável, presentável, o próprio homem corre o risco de sujeitar-se à função objetiva das relações técnicas. Esta tese tem, portanto, cinco objetivos: a) aclarar a dimensão originária de uma ética de ser-no-mundo em "Sein und Zeit": ela sobrevém de uma interpretação ontológica, enraizada na compreensão da finitude humana; b) explicitar o sentido daquilo a que Jünger, na sua abordagem do niilismo, chamou "a linha". Esta estabelece o nivelamento das diferenças até o ponto zero; c) discutir, em sua gênese, a análise heideggeriana da essência da técnica moderna, a Gestell, como um correlato do último estágio da metafísica. A cunhagem unidimensional da Gestell insere o homem e o mundo na esfera de um processo infindável de objetivação; d) mostrar de que modo a linguagem, na medida em que constitui um âmbito em si mesmo oscilante entre o ser e o seu aí (Da), delineia o enlevo da diferença; e) finalmente, investigar a questão de uma ética originária que se deixa entrever a partir da desconstrução do processo de objetivação na era do átomo, o que reclama, pois, a penetração na zona da linha. Esta ética sobre a linha terá seu ponto nevrálgico no Ereignis – o âmbito da comum-pertença entre o ser e o homem; o propiciar-se ou o libertar-se da proximidade vicinal, da compreensão afetiva, da linguagem e da finitude, elementos imprescindíveis para o acolhimento do outro.

In this text, a dimension of an originary ethics is discussed from the Heidegger’s conception of finitude, technique and language, starting with "Sein und Zeit" and then analyzing his mature texts of the fifties. The hypothesis presented herein is that the welcoming of being, which underlies and constitutes the core of Heidegger’s meditation on the question of technique, language and poetic dwelling, brings with itself intrinsic ethical implications, since it provides the possibility of a genuine welcoming of the other as other. It is, therefore, necessary to deconstruct the process of objectivation in metaphysics. That process of deconstruction aims towards a meditation concerning the essential condition for another encountering and dwelling near the other. This ethics will require from man a have-to-correspond to the interpellation of the being, which arises from the acceptance and affirmation of one’s own capacity to experience one’s own death as death. It will require man to (re)learning how to live on Earth, shielding himself from the danger he is exposed to in the empire of the Gestell: the danger of subjecting himself to the objective function of technical relationships, insofar as entities are presented to man as the reserve fund of what is purely calculable and negotiable. This thesis has five objectives: a) to clarify the originary dimension of an ethics of being-in-the-world in "Sein und Zeit", which comes from an ontological interpretation, rooted in the understanding of human finitude; b) to explain the sense of what Jünger called "the line" in his analysis of nihilism, which draws a levelling between the differences; c) to discuss Heidegger’s interpretation of the essence of Modern technique. According to Heidegger, Gestell is the correlate of the end of metaphysics. The one-dimensional coinage of Gestell places man and world in the sphere of an unending process of objectivation; d) to show how language, to the extent of being a scope in itself between its being and man, outlines the central core of the difference; e) lastly, to analyze the issue of an originary ethics seen from the deconstruction of the objectivation process in the atomic age, which requires entering the site of the line, requires that we locate this site of the line, which points towards the essence of nihilism. It is the site of the line that gives the source of the essence of nihilism and its realization. This ethics over the line finds its pivotal point in Ereignis – the scope of belonging-together between the being and man (Da-sein), allowing or releasing oneself from the vicinal proximity, the affective understanding, language and finitude. These elements are fundamental for the acknowledging and welcoming of the other as other.
