O primeiro capítulo do trabalho é dedicado à apresentação e caracterização geral destas álgebras. No segundo capítulo estudamos o reticulado de todas as congruências numa álgebra dinâmica arbitrária e caracterizamos as álgebras dinâmicas separáveis simples.
Dynamic algebras were defined by Pratt and Kozen in 1979 as being a class of algebraic structures that generalize the Kripke structures, thus constituting, an algebraic interpretation of the Propositional Dynamic Logic. The first chapter of the work is dedicated to the general presentation and characterization of these algebras. In the second chapter we study the lattice of all congruences in an arbitrary dynamic algebra and characterize the simple separable dynamic algebras. Appealing to the theory of varieties with discriminator, we conclude that the variety generated by the class of separable dynamic algebras (SDA) simple is a proper subvariety of HSP(SDA). For a dynamic congruence _, with Boolean part _1, we define the respective separating congruence and we prove that it is the biggest dynamic congruence with Boolean part _1 and with separable quotient algebra. Usually, the definition of ideal in a given class of algebras is established so that zero-classes of congruence relations are easily recognized as ideal. Having this in mind, we establish the concept of ideal in a dynamic algebra with zero. Characterizing some notions in the respective lattice of congruences, we show that the class of separable dynamic algebras with zero is not a class with ideal determined congruences. The chapter finishes with the study of conditions under which a dynamic congruence is determined by the respective kernel. To do so, we appeal to the ideals, introducing the concept of additive ideal. The fact of a monadic Boolean algebra being able to be interpreted as a very particular case of a dynamic algebra with only one element in the regular domain, take us to the presentation of a class of dynamic algebras, the class of monadic dynamic algebras, where a regular element behaves as a quantifier in the corresponding Boolean algebra. Similar to Halmos work, for Boolean algebras, we introduce the notion of dynamic hemimorphism between dynamic algebras and of relation dynamic between dynamic spaces and verify that these notions are mutually dual in the class of separable dynamic algebras. We finish with the identification of the dual entity (in the space of Stone of D) of a quantifier on a separable dynamic algebra D.
