Para uma Ciência Parda: uma escrita conform(e)/ada

Abstract

Quais são as políticas de linguagem da ciência contemporânea? E que nos diz isso? Será possível, repetindo apenas uma linguagem conformada a modelos dominantes e por demais repetidos, procurar e/ou dar forma ao novo? Ou apenas se pretende um simulacro do novo em palavras que não passam de esquifes convencionais? Algo que não nos deixa ir além do que Boaventura de Sousa Santos chamou a linha abissal? A questão passa então a ser: quem ganha com isso? E ainda: há uma razão de índole ideológica para tal? Para reflectir sobre a poética (criar/fazer uma linguagem), que subjaz a todas as questões científicas, partirei de algumas teorias resistentes — da poética, da linguística, da filosofia e da própria ciência, nomeadamente, em autores como Charles Bernstein, Jean-Jacques Lecercle, Deleuze e Guattari e Richard Feynman, que nos desafiam a inaugurar linhas de fuga à violência da linguagem dos senhores.

What is the politics of language in contemporary science? What does that entail? Is it possible to look for and/or give form to something which is supposed to be new if one simply repeats a language already (con)formed by dominant models? Or is contemporary science just aiming at creating a simulacrum of the new in words that can’t go beyond conventional skiffs? Something which will not allow for us to go beyond what Boaventura de Sousa Santos has called the abyssal line of our modernity? The question then becomes: who is profiting from that? And furthermore: is there an ideological question for this? Starting from a few resistance positions in poetics, linguistics, philosophy, and science itself, namely by authors like Charles Bernstein, Jean-Jacques Lecercle, Deleuze and Guattari, and Richard Feynman, I will reflect upon poetics (to create/to make in/with language) — which sustain and substantiate all the scientific questions — trying to respond to their challenge for the inauguration of lines of escape to the language of the masters.
