This article discusses the initial literary work of three Portuguese women of African descent, and their pursuit for identity between Portugal and their old family histories that link them to Angola and Cape Verde. Under analysis are the works of Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida, Esse Cabelo (2015), Tvon, Um Preto Português (2017) and Yara Monteiro, Essa Dama Bate Bué (2018). |
