Biography
PhD Candidate in Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC). In 2023 was a visiting PhD scholar at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, and in 2022 was also at the University of Utrecht at The Netherlands Research School of Gender Studies (NOG). She holds a master's degree in Journalism and Communication from FLUC, having carried out academic mobility at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2018/2019 she received the Top 3 per cent of Students Award. She has a postgraduate degree in Business Communication and in Higher Education Teaching. Bachelor in Social Communication with a major in Journalism. She has more than ten years of professional experience as a public relations and journalist in the Brazilian media. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis funded by the national Portuguese funding - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) - which theme is gender and journalism in the context of the public health crisis of covid-19.
