Biography
Adélio M. Rodrigues Gaspar was born in Portugal, in 1967. He is graduated (1992, 5 years degree) in Mechanical Engineering, MSc (1996) and PhD in Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) and Environment (2004) by the University of Coimbra. He is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM) of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra (UC).
Since 1995 he taught several disciplines of the energy and environment area (HVAC, Refrigeration and Building Systems; Simulation of Energy in Buildings; Energy Management; Energy and Environment; Renewable Energy Systems) of the graduation course (pre-Bologna) and of the integrated Master (post-Bologna) in Mechanical Engineering and in Environmental Engineering, Master in Industrial and Management Engineering and in Energy for Sustainability, Doctoral Programs in Mechanical Engineering and in Sustainable Energy Systems (MIT Portugal) of the UC.
